A new orchestra for King's Lynn - Norfolk

The King's Lynn Sinfonia is a new musical venture aimed at promoting orchestral music in the ancient town of King's Lynn. Launched in 2015, the orchestra gave its inaugural concert in the King's Lynn Minster performing organ concertos by Handel, Vivaldi and Poulenc.

The Minster was filled with an enthusiastic audience and met with critical acclaim.

In February 2016 the orchestra accompanied five performance of The Yeomen of the Guard by Gilbert and Sullivan in the 15th century Arts Centre of King's Lynn.

Our next concert will be on July 2nd when we ill perform Elgar's - Serenade for strings, J S Bach - Double concerto and the John Rutter Requiem.
